Promoting School Readiness through Reflective Parenting

UCLA is inviting Families enrolled in preschool at CII to participate in a FREE research study! The study will focus on the effectiveness of the Reflective Parenting Program for families with young children. Check out our flyer for more information!

Promoting School Readiness through Reflective Parenting is a 5-year NICHD-funded study examining the efficacy of a parenting intervention called the Reflective Parenting Program (RPP) for families with young children (ages 3, 4 or 5) enrolled in early childhood education services at Children’s Institute, Inc (CII). RPP is designed to teach parents skills to help them better understand their own thoughts, feelings, and behavior related to parenting as well as their child’s thoughts, feelings, and behavior.  Parents in PRP may also learn better ways to respond to their child when their child is upset or showing challenging behaviors.
