NFRC team members had a wonderful time lending support for the FOCUS Day of Dialogue. The event brought together LAUSD school social workers and the UCLA school-based prevention team to discuss FOCUS implementation in school settings. Specifically, LAUSD social workers provided feedback on the FOCUS Resilience Curriculum and Skill Building Groups for Parents and Division staff filmed interviews. The NFRC was happy to support the day of dialogue with the other partners, including the UCLA Semel Institute Center for Health Services and Society, the UCLA Center for Child Anxiety Resilience Education and Support (CARES), the UCLA Division of Population Behavioral Health, the UCLA Pritzker Center for Strengthening Children and Families, the Anthony and Jeanne Pritzker Family Foundation, the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health, and the Los Angeles Unified School District School Mental Health.
